The March 25th meeting of the Whitehall Board of Education was held at Whitehall Memorial Elementary Balcony George Everson called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Roll was called, and a quorum established. Other Board members present: Jason Molis, Byron Fields, Julie Dokkestul, Kristen Carroll, Dan Koxlien and Leah A.W. Johnson.

Others present: District Manager, Megan Densmore; High School Principal, Jamie Youngbauer; Middle School Principal, Beth Lisowski; Elementary Principal, Damon Lisowski. Superintendent/9-12 Principal; Mike Beighley. Abby Sacia – Whitehall Times, and Darin Pape – Pape Bus Services.

Carroll moved to approve vouchers as presented. Fields seconded. Aye – All members. Motion carried.

Jason Molis motioned to approve the minutes from the February 25th regular and executive meeting, the resignation of Jason Schlarmann, Blake Schlarmann, Mallory Miles and Colleen Cantlon-Marler. Approve the employment of Laura Foss, Business Education Teacher and the spring extracurricular contracts.

Fields seconded. Aye – All members. Motion carried.

Mike Beighley gave an update on April 2nd, 2019 Operational Referendum. Meetings are going well; good questions are being asked and answered.

Discussion was had on the meeting held previously in the evening at Arcadia on the TVC 2.0 meeting.

Leah Johnson motioned to approve the first reading of Policy 453.7 – Student Use of Service/Companion Animals.

Koxlien seconded. Aye – All members. Motion carried.

CESA 4 contracts will be available to review at next board meeting.
