The Whitehall eighth grade students and staff would like to thank those who bought Pot O’ Gold tickets, purchased fundraiser items, or made a donation of money to help make the May 1-5 Washington, D.C. trip possible.  If you’ve wondered if your money was spent wisely, all you had to do was watch a group of Whitehall students interact with a Korean War veteran at the Lincoln Memorial. They gathered around his wheelchair, shook his hand, and thanked him for his service.  They listened as he told them how thrilled he was to see them there and that he prays that they would never have to endure the things he did in combat. For this and a number of other meaningful opportunities, a deep thanks is extended to the following groups or businesses:

AmVets Post 1 – Pleasantvilledc 2018

Pigeon Falls Lions Club

Hi Crush LLC – Whitehall

John O Melby Branch – State Bank of Arcadia

Waumandee State Bank

Jenny Estenson, Scentsy Candles

Pigeon Falls State Bank

Jerry Franzwa

Alex Eid

Vince Wozney

Any assistance in bringing this educational opportunity to the eighth grade students in the Whitehall School District is greatly appreciated.
