Sixth grade students in Mr. Guza’s science class have taken a hands on approach to examining and solving some real world problems.  As part of his unit on soil and water conservation, Mr. Guza has empowered his students to create their own solutions to these serious issues.  Students are creating presentations for the entire class along with models to demonstrate their ideas.  This hands on, project-centered approach fosters critical thinking and allows students the opportunity to display their skills to the whole class.
