Reclamation work on the old Sunset Elementary site is entering into its next phase as school nears. Included in this project is a large grass practice area, a softball / youth baseball field, and an extra grass practice area. Backstop and fencing work will soon be installed for the softball / baseball field area. These facilities are part of the original “Memorial Schools” planning process.
Also nearing completion is the resurfacing of the track. This was an insurance project due to the flooding that took place last year in the late summer. Painting will be completed soon and the track will be ready for use!
