The Whitehall School District received their second Wisconsin Technology Initiative grant. The Wisconsin Technology Initiative (WTI) provides grants to K-12 schools and other educational facilities that are committed to effectively integrating instructional technology into their learning environments.
John P. Morgridge and his wife, Tashia F. Morgridge, established the Wisconsin Technology Initiative in December 2010 to help make 21st century instructional technology more accessible to forward-thinking school districts. John and Tashia are both graduates of Wauwatosa High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
A total of $120,629.00 has been given to the district over the past two years. With the money received, the district has purchased SMART boards, SMART document cameras and SMART tables for classrooms throughout the district.
Thank you to the Morgridge family and their continued support of education in Wisconsin.
